Jayke is a handsome 7-year-old boy who just adores people. He loves plenty of attention and to be near his human companion whenever possible. Jayke also gets along really well with other small dogs so it is essential he have another small, friendly canine companion to share his life with.

Jayke is quite a smart little man who knows some basic commands already. He can sit, his recall is good and he loves to please his carer. So it will prove very easy to continue with his training. He is also housetrained and doesn’t mark indoors, which is an added bonus with any male pooch.

Jayke was surrendered to the RSPCA with his younger female Jack Russell friend, discarded without reason. Therefore it is not surprising Jayke does get nervous in new situations. But once he settles in he starts to relax and gets quite excited to see his human companion and the attention he knows will follow. In time, as he learns he can trust his new family, his anxiety should decrease.

Ideally Jayke would love a home where he is walked regularly, has another canine friend and a human companion who isn’t working long hours away from home. He is a fairly quiet little fellow who doesn’t bark unless he hears or senses something unusual. He has an easy care coat that doesn’t require large amounts of brushing. Once he gets to know you Jayke is the perfect little companion dog who will fit in well in most homes. However, as with any dog, it is essential he is supervised around small children.

This delightful little man really deserves a second chance at a good life. If you feel he would fit into your family he is waiting to meet you at Metford, NSW; Date of Birth: 19/05/2008
