Charlotte is a beautiful 8 years old Tenterfield Terrier X who just loves to be the centre of attention. Charlotte and her male companion Scamp were seized from appalling living conditions where they had been confined in a bird enclosure. Charlotte was well under her ideal weight, heavily pregnant and suffering from nutritional deficiency related hair loss and flea allergy dermatitis.

Charlotte went on to give birth to two healthy male puppies via caesarean section a few weeks after coming into foster care. She was a fantastic mum, meticulous in taking care of her babies right up until they were 8 weeks of age.

Charlotte has made remarkable progress reaching her ideal weight (and a little bit more!). Her skin issues and hair loss is now a thing of the past. Charlotte is once again a picture of health inside and out and she is ready to take the next step in her life journey…. finding herself the perfect forever family who will love and care for her and never allow her to be neglected again.

Charlotte-10

Charlotte has always had another canine companion by her side so it is essential she is adopted into a home with another dog for company. Charlotte does enjoy a wrestle with some of her doggie foster friends, but on occasions will ‘put her paw down’ when she has had enough play.

Charlotte loves human cuddles. She is quite persistent when she wants attention, so be prepared for some serious affection from this little lady! Charlotte is good with children and would be best suited to a home with children over the age of 8 that aren’t too boisterous or rough.

Charlotte-09

Charlotte walks quite well on lead and would benefit from a good walk each day to manage her weight. She loves her food and will eat all day if portions aren’t controlled. She has come along very well with toilet training and needs access to an outdoor area as required.

Charlotte has a big bark for her size and will use it when she is unsure of something or someone in her environment. She has an easy maintenance coat that will require the occasional bath in order to keep it clean and glossy.

Charlotte-01

Charlotte has an abundance of love to give and will seek nothing more than the same in return; she will happily spend her whole day and night by your side, given the opportunity. Therefore she is best suited to someone who has plenty of time to spend with her. Retired, semi-retired or work from home family would suit this lovely girl’s needs.

If you would like to meet this very special little dog she is waiting for you at Dungog, NSW. Date of Birth: 23/05/2007
