Evie is a beautiful and affectionate puppy who loves to get out and about with her foster family and canine brothers and sisters. She is quite social and outgoing and will tackle most challenges without hesitation. Evie is not yet aware of her size or strength and as a larger breed dog, she is learning to use her long legs and explore her surroundings with her sharp little puppy teeth. Therefore it is essential she is supervised around all children and she will only be re-homed to a family with older children, if any, who are gentle and know how to handle a larger breed puppy appropriately.
Evie loves to rumble with her foster brothers and sisters and would play all day long if she could. She loves to chew on toys, play tug-o-war and run around the backyard exploring all of her surroundings. Evie has a lot of energy and is very intelligent. Already she is well on her way to correct toileting, even taking herself outside at times. She also sits for treats and is learning to respond to her name. With her energy and intelligence, Evie will need ongoing training to ensure she grows into a well- mannered canine companion.
Evie must have another medium to large dog in her forever home. This will help her learn right from wrong from the other dog, provide plenty of puppy playtime and continue her socialisation with other dogs.
Evie travels well and has been on a few long drives, where she has made herself comfortable and simply fallen asleep. Evie would be a loving loyal companion prepared to take on everything and anything her new family do. She would enjoy long runs with a family that enjoys exercise. However despite this, Evie is quite the snuggler and is very happy having a cuddle on the bed (if she’s allowed to) or sit with you as you relax on the couch.
Evie is currently in foster care at Umina Beach, NSW; Date of Birth: 11/12/2015
